Hot Yoga - All hot yoga classes are held at Samatva. These flow classes are heated to a temperature of 40.6ºC. Students are required to bring a towel to this class and a water bottle is recommended. In this class you'll move dynamically to build strength and increase flexibility. This class is not recommended for those who are new to yoga.
Power - Power yoga is a style of yoga derived from vinyasa principles. Power yoga is both fast-paced and flow-based and is considered to be a more athletic style of yoga. This class will "push your edge" in the most rewarding way. Suitable to yogis looking to get a bit more muscle burn than a Hatha class.
Sunrise Yoga - A perfect way to start your morning! Sunrise Yoga will help you wake up your body with vinyasa-style flows. Perfect for beginners and seasoned yogis!
Sunrise - Sunrise Yoga is held twice weekly in the ARC studios. A perfect class to get the blood flowing to wake you up before your 8:30 and jumpstart your day. Suitable for all levels.
Yin - Yin is a rescue from our daily grind. A rejuvenating class that allows us to escape our busy lives for moments of stillness. The focus of this class is to stretch the body and refill its energy. With lots of hands on assistance, this class will have you coming back week after week. Suitable for all levels.
Power Party - Power Party is the perfect way to kick off the weekend! Just as the name implies, this class is a party. The instructor will guide through an upbeat and fun class where you will torch calories and increase strength without even knowing it. Suitable for all levels.
Hatha Yoga - This is a gentle, basic yoga class. Expect a slower-paced stretching class with some basic breathing exercises and meditation at the end. Hatha classes are a great place to learn beginners' poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga
Bikram Yoga - Bikram Hot Yoga is a dynamic routine of 26 Hatha yoga poses practiced in a heated environment. Because of the intensity, Bikram is the go-to yoga for Athletes who wish to tone their bodies and heal injuries. Bikram is designed to create a healhty, fit body by improving your metabolism & flexibility, detoxifying your body, and strengthening all of your muscles and joints from the inside out. You will come away from each class feeling like you got a massage, had a nap and worked out for the full 90 minutes!
Restorative - Take time for things to be slow and simple. This evening class is perfect for softening before bedtime - feel free to come in your pyjamas
Peace Yoga - Peace yoga is a slower paced class designed to enhance mobility, and decrease pain in a calm, relaxing environment!
Pick me up - Start your Saturday off right with an all-levels practice that will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the world. And if the postures aren't enough, every class includes complimentary coffee made with fair-trade beans ;)
